David Ronn Participates in the Opening of the Government of Israel Economic Office in Houston, Texas

On Thursday, 2 June 2005, Mr. David Ronn moderated the opening of the Government of Israel Economic Office in Houston, Texas. Mr. Ronn is a corporate / securities partner in our Houston office. He shared our firm's recent experience in Israel and the outlook for the continued expansion of Israel's economy. The Government of Israel has only four Economic Offices in the United States - Houston, Chicago, New York and Los Angeles.
The opening was held at the campus of BMC Software, Inc. Mr. Robert Whilden, Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of BMC Software greeted the crowd and explained his company's strong ties to Israel. Ms. Yael Ravia-Zadok, the Consul General of Israel to the Southwest, and Mr. David Wallace, the Mayor of Sugarland, Texas, welcomed the gathering. Economic Consul for the Government of Israel, Mr. Joseph Abraham, presented a slideshow of facts regarding Israel's technology-based economy and how the Economic Office in Houston can assist those interested in building economic ties with Israel.
