Environmental
Our environmental law practice includes three general areas of specialty - environmental, environmental issues in transactions, and environmental compliance. We have been counseling clients on environmental matters and litigating environmental disputes since the early 1970's, when Congress first enacted the cornerstone Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, and Resource Conservation and Recovery Act legislation. The practice regularly tries and wins high profile cases; conducts due diligence and negotiations, negotiates and appeals permitting issues; comments on and challenges proposed regulations; and advises on every kind of environmental issue, including brownfields development, cleanup requirements, spill reporting, and the siting of landfills and incinerators.
