Droit et Archéologie, under the direction of Thierry Rambaud

The book is the outcome of a symposium organised by Thierry Rambaud and brings together contributions from a dozen archaeologists and legal experts.

It addresses major current issues in art, culture and archaeology law, including the restitution of illicitly acquired works, the fight against illegal trafficking in antiquities, issues relating to the funding of preventive archaeology, the legal obligations of developers and the fight against the looting of archaeological sites.
