Mayer Brown’s Xiomara Damour named to Lawyers for Civil Justice’s 2024 Fellows Program

Mayer Brown announced that Litigation & Dispute Resolution associate Xiomara Damour has been selected as a member of the 2024 Lawyers for Civil Justice (LCJ) Fellows Program.
Launched in 2019 by LCJ’s Diversity and Young Lawyers Committee, the Civil Justice Fellows Program “seeks to identify and mentor rising defense bar leaders while incorporating their fresh and important perspectives on litigation reform,” according to LCJ. Xiomara will serve a three-year term and have the opportunity to engage in meaningful policy work while collaborating with some of the leading defense and corporate counsel in the country.
Xiomara was selected for her demonstrated commitment to the civil defense bar and practice experience. At Mayer Brown, she helps a wide range of clients in complex litigation matters and in connection with regulatory investigations and enforcement matters brought by the Department of Justice and the US Securities and Exchange Commission. Xiomara also maintains an active pro bono practice, with a focus on criminal and immigration matters.
LCJ is a national coalition of defense trial lawyer organizations, law firms, and corporations that promotes excellence and fairness in the civil justice system to secure the just, speedy, and inexpensive determination of civil cases.
