Tauil & Chequer Advogados in association with Mayer Brown served as legal counsel to CashMe, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Cyrela Group, in the public offering of BRL 350 million in receivables certificates (CRs).
The CRs are registered and book-entry securities to be issued in the 1st issuance, divided into two classes. The senior class is further split into two series, while the subordinated class is divided into a mezzanine subclass and a junior subclass, issued by Companhia Província de Securitização, with a nominal unit value of R$ 1,000 as of the issuance date. The offering was coordinated by Itaú BBA.
The transaction was led by partner Bruno Cerqueira, with the participation of associate Camila Torelli, both from the firm's Capital Markets & Securitization practice.
