Tauil & Chequer Advogados Advises Itaú BBA on EDP São Paulo’s BRL 800 Million Debenture Issuance

Tauil & Chequer Advogados in association with Mayer Brown acted as legal counsel to Itaú BBA, as lead coordinator, in the public offering of debentures issued by EDP São Paulo, totaling BRL 800 million.
The proceeds from the issuance will be used for the expansion, renewal, or improvement of the electricity distribution infrastructure in the State of São Paulo, in accordance with Law 12,431 and Decree 11,964. The funds will also cover future payments of expenses and debts related to the project and reimburse eligible costs or debts incurred within 24 months from the Closing Notice, as detailed in the Issuance Deed.
