Mayer Brown advises EPM on $650 million credit facility

Mayer Brown advised Empresas Públicas de Medellín (EPM), Colombia's state-owned utilities company, on a $650 million syndicated unsecured credit facility. EPM operates 26 generation plants, including 24 hydroelectric, one 460 MW thermal, and a 19.5 MW wind park, holding a 22.6% market share with an installed capacity of 3,540 MW.

The team was led by partner Juan Pablo Moreno and associates Luis Schrader and Yamina Centurión Coronel in the New York office and associate Rodrigo Fonseca in the Chicago office.
