Nanak Keswani has nearly 20 years experience across a wide range of structured finance transactions, concentrating his practice in OTC derivatives, repos and structured credit.
Nanak advises global investment banks, end users and service providers on structuring, documentation, regulation and disputes in these areas with a particular focus on repackaging of financial assets, structured repos, TRS and other collateralised funding structures, risk transfer, structured note programmes and finance related hedging.
He joined Mayer Brown in April 2007.
Erfahrung
- Advising global banks on their structured repo and derivatives financing transactions opposite major banks and financial institutions in Turkey, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Canada, United States of America, France, Spain, Italy and the UK.
- Advising an investment fund manager as deal counsel on all of its funds' repackagings of their CRE loan assets and related limited recourse structured repo transactions.
- Advising a global investment firm on the entry into and refinancing of two loan facilities on the launch of a £203.1 million commercial mortgage backed security secured by a portfolio of commercial property located in the UK, which involved the issuance of £203.1 million Reg S and Rule 144A fixed and floating rate notes listed on the Irish Stock Exchange.
