Sam Kahan

Sam Kahan has a broad range of experience acting for large international corporations, private equity and venture capital investors and their portfolio companies in connection with acquisitions, disposals, restructurings and reorganisations.

Prior to joining Mayer Brown in 2024, Sam worked as an associate in the London office of a large US firm and has also spent time on secondment in Hong Kong.

• Advised Pulsant, one of the leading nationwide providers of data centre and cloud infrastructure in the UK, on its sale from private equity firm Oak Hill Capital and Scottish Equity Partners to Antin Infrastructure Partners.*
• Acted for Duke Street Capital on the acquisition of Great Rail Journeys, the world’s leading provider of escorted rail journeys.*
• Acted for Altamont Capital Partners in its carve-out acquisition of Publicis Healthcare Solutions, a leading pharmaceutical marketing and communications organisation, from Publicis Groupe.*
• Advised Kohlberg & Company on the acquisition by its portfolio company of MGB Insurance Brokers, a UK Lloyd’s broker focusing on arranging financial and professional insurance.*
• Represented Xerox Holdings Corporation on its acquisition of Go Inspire, a UK-based print and digital marketing and communication services provider.*
