He represents clients in complex disputes, and is adept at addressing novel legal issues and developing strategies for the resolution of multi-jurisdictional disputes. His experience extends to navigating the legal landscape surrounding emerging technologies and assisting with intellectual property transactions, software agreements, and related contracts.

Prior to joining Mayer Brown, Justin was an associate in the Intellectual Property and Dispute Resolution departments of a leading domestic Singapore firm. His holistic approach ensures that clients receive practical advice tailored to achieving to their commercial goals.

• Represented a renowned multinational video game developer/publisher in a dispute against a prominent rival video game developer/publisher, seeking to protect and enforce the client’s video game intellectual property via copyright infringement and passing off. Recognised as Impact Deal and Case of the Year: Riot Games v NetEase Interactive Entertainment by Asialaw Awards 2023.*
• Represented an industry leader and local manufacturer of synthetic diamonds in an appeal against findings of liability in a patent infringement suit in the case of IIa Technologies Pte Ltd v Element Six Technologies Ltd [2023] 1 SLR 987.*
• Represented an internet technology company in an appeal against a trademark opposition in the case of V V Technology Pte Ltd v Twitter, Inc [2023] 5 SLR 513.*
• Acted for an acclaimed fitness/lifestyle content creator and YouTube personality in matters of copyright infringement, trademark infringement, passing off, and defamation.*
