Nikolay Mizulin

Nikolay Mizulin focuses on international and EU trade law, focusing on trade remedies, ESG and supply chain regulations, WTO dispute settlements, customs, and sanctions. He represents corporations and governments in trade investigations before EU institutions and the investigating authorities of Brazil, China, India, the United States, and other countries, covering all stages from complaint preparation to legal challenges.

In his sanctions and export controls practice, Nikolay assists clients in developing and implementing internal compliance policies, handling applications with national authorities, and managing sanctions-related internal investigations and disputes in national and international courts.

• Assisting private parties and governments in several significant WTO disputes involving trade in energy, subsidisation trade defence measures, trade in services, basic non-discrimination principles, as well as technical barriers to trade.
• Representing various stakeholders in more than fifty EU trade defence investigations.
• Acting for foreign exporters and domestic industry in the anti-dumping, anti-subsidy, and safeguard investigations conducted by Brazil, Canada, China, the Eurasian Economic Union, India, Turkey, Ukraine, the United States, and other countries.
• Advising on compliance with customs regulations resulting in significant duty-saving opportunities.
