Benefits and Compensation University: Developments and Key Issues for Qualified Plans in 2020
Please join us for Mayer Brown’s Benefits & Compensation University, which we have expanded from our annual Executive Compensation University to include health, welfare and qualified plan issues. During this series of webinars, we will explore benefit and compensation issues in depth and hear from leading Mayer Brown lawyers about the changing regulatory landscape as they provide practical, business-focused guidance on dealing with these challenges. The second session of our webinar series will cover such areas as:
- Reducing or suspending matching and non-elective contributions under 401(k) Safe Harbor plans in 2020 and beyond
- Issues and updates regarding distributions, including SECURE Act and CARES Act changes to Code Section 401(a)(9) required minimum distribution rules and hardship and other in-service withdrawals
- ERISA Title I round-up for plan sponsors, including recent Department of Labor guidance, claims and appeals deadlines, new pooled employer plans and litigation developments
