Commercial Real Estate Restructuring - Trends and Outlook
The pandemic has negatively affected most classes of commercial real estate (CRE); however, some CRE sectors such as e-commerce warehouses, self-storage facilities, certain grocery stores, and medical spaces have done better than restaurants, retail spaces, hotels and shopping malls for example.
With an undefined end to the pandemic, there is still a tremendous amount of uncertainty regarding the commercial real estate market. This situation has also presented innovative possibilities including affordable rental prices, vacancies in sought after locations, and a shift towards a greater use of technology and digitalization.
Partner Tom Kiriakos will participate in Bloomberg Law’s webinar on Commercial Real Estate Restructuring – Trends and Outlook, which will discuss the short-and long-term strategies and innovative ways to address distressed CRE clients. For additional information, please visit the event website.
