PLI International Arbitration Day 2024
B. Ted Howes, head of the US International Arbitration practice, will be a panelist at the Practising Law Institute (PLI) International Arbitration Day taking place June 18, 2024. Ted’s panel, titled “New Directions in International Arbitration,” will focus on whether international arbitration has lost its way in terms of flexibility and efficiency. Among other topics, the panel will address and debate:
- How to plan for efficient international arbitration proceedings
- Whether submissions have become too long
- Whether witness statements are always required
- When an arbitration can be decided without hearings
