Implementing A Global Artificial Intelligence Governance Program

On October 3, 2024, Bloomberg Law published an e-book by author Arsen Kourinian entitled, Implementing a Global Artificial Intelligence Governance Program. The book offers an in-depth analysis regarding how artificial intelligence (AI) works, key players in the AI supply chain, and important issues companies should consider as they develop or deploy AI. Notably, Arsen also provides an AI governance program that companies can implement, which harmonizes all of the major AI laws, guidelines and frameworks into an actionable plan. The program is broken down into several high-level components, including forming an AI governance team, data governance, risk management, legal compliance, mitigation measures, and accountability. The book also provides a sample AI impact assessment and governance policies that companies may consider as they develop their own customized governance program.
