Mayer Brown represents Marlin Business Services in sale to affiliates of HPS Investment Partners
Mayer Brown represented Marlin Business Services Corp., a NASDAQ-listed nationwide provider in the US of capital solutions to small businesses, in its sale to funds managed by HPS Investment Partners LLC for $23.50 per share.
The closing of the transaction is subject to various customary closing conditions, including regulatory and shareholder approvals, as well as the condition that Marlin Business Bank, a subsidiary of Marlin, effect a “de-banking” and cease operations as a bank.
