Mayer Brown partners Anna Pinedo and Carmine Zarlenga named winners of 2021 Lexology Client Choice Awards
Mayer Brown announced that Capital Markets partner Anna Pinedo and Litigation & Dispute Resolution partner Carmine Zarlenga were named 2021 Client Choice Award winners by Lexology in two categories.
- Anna Pinedo (New York) – Derivatives - United States: New York
- Carmine Zarlenga (Washington DC) – Litigation - United States: District of Columbia
Ms. Pinedo is a co-leader of the firm’s Global Capital Markets practice. She concentrates her practice on securities and derivatives. She represents issuers, investment banks/financial intermediaries and investors in financing transactions, including public offerings and private placements of equity and debt securities, as well as structured notes and other hybrid and structured products. This marks the third time that Ms. Pinedo won this recognition in the Derivatives (NY) category, including 2019 and 2018. She was also recognized in the Capital Markets (NY) category in 2017 and 2016. Additionally, she was named a Lexology “Legal Influencer” for Financial Services – US in 2020.
Mr. Zarlenga is a seasoned attorney who has handled a wide variety of complex antitrust, commercial litigation and intellectual property matters. During a career of over 30 years, he has appeared in over 60 different state and federal courts across the United States on behalf of some of the largest national and international companies in the world.
Client Choice Award winners were selected for their ability to add real value to clients’ business above and beyond the other players in the market. This year’s winners were nominated by corporate counsel, from a pool of more than 2,000 individual client assessments.
