Shout out to a team at Mayer Brown that got a win at the D.C. Circuit for the Window Covering Manufacturers Associations challenging new standards set by Consumer Product Safety Commission for operating cords on custom-made window coverings. The appellate court vacated the rule setting the new standards, finding the agency failed to disclose its injury-incident data and selected an arbitrary effective date for the rule.
