A Mayer Brown team represented QIC Infrastructure (QIC) in the successful divestment of MasParc & Mobility LLC, the exclusive operator of the parking system at Northeastern University under a 50-year concession agreement. Mayer Brown also advised QIC on the acquisition of the parking concession from Northeastern University in 2018, the first transaction of its kind with provisions related to future mobility and emerging technologies and the first such transaction with a private university in the US.

In June 2024, Mayer Brown also advised QIC on the successful sale of CampusParc, the university car parking concessionaire established by QIC in 2012 to operate and manage the parking system at The Ohio State University. In addition to the CampusParc and MasParc transactions, Mayer Brown has advised QIC and its portfolio companies on other transactions across asset classes, including the acquisition by QIC-majority owned CenTrio of long-term university energy concessions at Louisiana State University and Eastern Michigan University.

The team was led by partner Joseph Seliga and included partners Jason Wagenmaker, Michelle Jewett, and Stephanie Vasconcellos, counsel Jeromy Cannon, and associates Michael Russo, Xiao Xiao, Charlie Abraham, and Hana Yampolsky.
