Mayer Brown advises Bladex and Banco Agricola on syndicated loan for CrediQ

A Mayer Brown team represented Banco Latinoamericano de Comercio Exterior, S.A. (Bladex), a multinational bank, and Banco Agrícola S.A. (a Grupo Bancolombia company), in a $200 million syndicated loan in partnership with Inversiones CrediQ Business, S.A. and its subsidiaries in Costa Rica, El Salvador, and Guatemala.

This is the second syndicated loan led by Bladex for CrediQ. The funds obtained in this transaction represent new resources for CrediQ, allowing it to provide development opportunities to families, micro-entrepreneurs, and small and medium enterprises in Central America.

The team was led by partner Juan Pablo Moreno and associates Luis Schrader and Yamina Centurión Coronel, all in the firm’s New York office.
