Overview

Admitted to the Paris Bar, Simon Pierre Ben Soussan is an associate in the Tax practice of the Paris office.

Simon-Pierre's practice focuses on all aspects related to tax transactions, from due diligence to structuring. He mainly assists French & International companies including investment funds on mergers and acquisitions transactions as well as their financing.

Simon Pierre also provides assistance to companies and their managers as well on day to day tax matters, and defends them in tax controversy matters against tax administration.

In addition to his native French, he is fluent in English and German.

Advised : 

  • Montefiore Investment in the acquisitions, via its digital media platform European Digital Group, of Avizio, Mobiskill (and in the creation of Wefy Group), Adventure Conseil, Car Data (and in the creation of Dataventure Group), Semantiweb, Equancy, de Digital Prod The Social Wire, Optimize Matter and other groups. 
  • Montefiore Investment and Gandi in the sale of Gandi, a French domain name registrar, web hosting company and provider of email and SSL certificates, to the pan-European company TotalWebhosting Solutions (TWS).
  • Bridgepoint on the acquisition of a majority stake in CAST and the launch of a mandatory simplified tender offer to acquire the remaining CAST shares.
  • LBO France on the financing and the structuring of the acquisition of Alliance Marine Groupe, distributor of equipment for leisure sailing and professional sailing.
  • LBO France on its acquisition of a majority stake in ID Market and Sourcidys, leading BtoB and BtoC distributor of home & garden products in France.
