Overview
Mike Gorski advises asset managers, sponsors, corporate borrowers, institutional investors and credit funds across the credit spectrum, with a particular focus on acquisition finance and special situations transactions. His experience covers a wide range of transaction, including syndicated, club and bilateral facilities and private placements, direct lending, mezzanine and structured equity transactions, Holdco PIK, restructurings and special sits financings. He is a trusted adviser to all his clients and rapidly becomes their first point of call on all transactions and on-going general queries.
Before joining Mayer Brown, Mike spent time at the London office of another US firm and a large international law firm prior to which he worked at large European Bank.

- Representing Pemberton Capital Management in connection with the additional bridge facility to Septinuary Group.
- Representing private credit funds in numerous direct lending/acquisition financing transactions, including:
- Advising senior creditors in connection with the financing arrangements for the acquisition of a leading U.K. modular building construction specialist (and its subsidiaries) by a provider of investment capital for small and mid-sized companies in the U.K. and Western Europe.
- Advising senior creditors in connection with the financing arrangements for the acquisition of Chartway Group by Cabbot Square Capital Limited.
- Advising senior creditors in connection with the financing arrangements for the acquisition of UK Parking Control Limited by Palladian Investment Partners LLP.
- Advising senior creditors in connection with the comprehensive refinancing of the Go-ahead Group (a passenger transport company) debt (c.£1.1 billion), including complex intercreditor negotiations.
- Advising creditors on amendment and restatement and subsequent restructure of National Timber Group.
- Advising senior creditors on amendment and restatement of the debt structure of London Square Development Group, including complex intercreditor arrangements relating to provision of mezzanine debt by a government backed agency.
- Advising senior creditors on comprehensive reorganisation and debt restructure of Marston's plc, including complex intercreditor and pension arrangements.*
