Overview
Matthew Keehn advises clients on investment management, specifically advising on private funds. Matthew assists a variety of clients in matters which involve private investment vehicles, both on the sponsor side of matters and the investor side. He advises both registered and exempt reporting advisers under the Advisers Act of 1940, in fund formation projects, reorganizations of fund structures, revenue sharing arrangements with key investors, as well as other marketing, compliance, ongoing management and regulatory issues. He assists institutional investors in evaluating potential investments into private funds. In addition, Matthew provides subject-matter review and assistance to litigation, bankruptcy, and other corporate teams at Mayer Brown on matters which involve asset managers or private fund complexes.
