Overview
Don Min oversees an array of IP legal conflicts, including multi-jurisdictional patent litigations in the US, Europe, China and Japan involving patents related to projectors, image processing, circuits, touch technology, organic light emitting diodes and thin film transistors. Clients turn to Don for his ability to formulate and execute plans to successfully conclude a diverse mix of IP related matters.
Corporations have enlisted him as the lead negotiator to resolve highly complex intellectual property licensing transactions with competitors and licensors, as well as to dispose of conflicts with various patent owners.
In addition, clients leverage Don’s leadership experience at a global Korean conglomerate, which has lent him a unique perspective into the workings of Asian companies.
Prior to joining Mayer Brown, Don led the IP litigation and licensing team at LG Display Co., Ltd., one of the leading LCD and OLED display manufacturers in the world.
Don has served clients including Maxell, Ltd. and LG Display Co., Ltd.
