Gabriela Martelo

Gabriela Martelo is an associate in the Corporate and M&A practice of Tauil & Chequer Advogados in association with Mayer Brown in the Rio de Janeiro office. Her practice is focused on the Oil & Gas Industry, advising national and foreign companies in the upstream, midstream and downstream segments.

Gabriela has experience in acquisition transactions and contracts related to the oil industry. Her work also includes advising on regulatory issues and bidding of blocks and areas with marginal accumulations promoted by the National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels.

• Advised company on the analysis and negotiation of draft contracts regarding natural gas offloading and processing.
• Advised national and multinational companies on administrative demands before the National Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels Agency - ANP.

• Advised a multinational company in a legal opinion about the Permanent Offer under the Production Sharing Regime and contractual matters.
