Preston R. Michelson

Preston Michelson is an associate in Mayer Brown's Chicago office and a member of the Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice.

Preston served as a law clerk for two years before joining the firm in 2024. He first clerked for the Honorable James Patrick Hanlon of the US District Court for the Southern District of Indiana, and then for the Honorable Doris L. Pryor of the US Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. Preston graduated magna cum laude from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law, where he was the Editor-in-Chief of the Indiana Law Journal.
