Overview
Rafaela Martins Marsola is an associate in the Environment and Climate Change practice of Tauil & Chequer Advogados in association with Mayer Brown in the São Paulo office. She has worked in the environmental area since 2019. She has experience in providing legal advice in administrative and judicial processes relating to environmental matters. Rafaela also assists in structuring, reviewing the terms used in merger and acquisition operations, and analyzing documentation related to the environmental aspects involved in the project. She has experience in providing legal advice to clients in different segments such as infrastructure, energy, mining and services.
Experience
- Represented one of the largest mining companies in the world, in judicial and administrative proceedings related to crisis management;
- Represented large chemical, agricultural and biotechnology companies in environmental and regulatory administrative proceeding related to the regularization of pesticide sales and other issues;
- Participation in the analysis of environmental aspects in various due diligences in the renewable electricity sector.
