Overview
Cecilia Rambarat regularly advises clients on pharmaceutical, biologics, medical devices, and chemical intellectual property matters—particularly patent litigation, trade secret litigation, strategic development of global patent portfolios, and patent prosecution strategies.
As a Registered Patent Attorney with a background in Chemistry, Cecilia concentrates her practice on patent disputes in federal courts and before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB). Cecilia’s technical prowess and significant experience with patent prosecution gives her a unique understanding of the legal issues faced by clients during patent disputes.

- DSM IP Assets, B.V., et al. v. Honeywell International, Inc. (D. Del.). Representing DSM in patent litigation involving a patent directed to a multi-filament yarn.
- Mallet and Company Inc. v. Ada Lacayo, et al. (W.D. Pa.). Representing Mallet in trade secret misappropriation litigation.
- Galderma S.A., et al. v. Medytox, Inc. (PTAB & Fed. Cir.). Represented Galderma in post-grant review of a Medytox patent. PTAB and Federal Circuit ruled in Galderma's favor.
- Galderma Laboratories, L.P., et al. v. Medinter US LLC, et al. (D. Del.). Represented Galderma in patent litigation involving two patents directed to dermal implant medical devices.
