Overview
Magdalena Schenone is an associate in Mayer Brown’s Banking & Finance practice, focusing on fund finance matters. Magdalena represents domestic and foreign financial institutions, as well as investment funds and private equity sponsors in a wide range of secured and unsecured finance transactions, including subscription-backed credit facilities, hybrid and Net Asset Value (NAV) facilities. Magdalena has experience representing both borrowers and lenders (individually and as agent) in bilateral as well as syndicated financing transactions. Magdalena’s background also includes traditional asset-based lending as well as derivatives trading documentation.

- Represented a major financial institution, as administrative agent, in connection with a $150,000,000 revolving loan under a syndicated, subscription-backed credit facility with cascading pledges from both onshore and offshore feeder entities.
- Represented a borrower in connection with a $400,000,000 revolving loan and a $100,000,000 term loan under a syndicated, secured hybrid credit facility.
- Represented a major financial institution in the bespoke restructuring of a $200,000,000 revolving credit facility.
- Represented a borrower in connection with a $500,000,000 subscription-backed revolving credit facility with a complex multijurisdictional entity structure.
