Akaash Singh advises government entities, government-owned corporations, and multinational corporations on all parts of the project lifecycle: origination, construction, delivery, offtake arrangements, and, finally, contract close and project close-out and decommissioning.
Experience
Advised:
- The Government of Timor-Leste and the regulator on the international law, regulatory and commercial arrangements for the development of the Greater Sunrise gas fields with an approximate value of US$50 billion;
- The project company on the project refinancing and ETCS signalling upgrade of Queensland’s New Generation Rollingstock project, with an approximate value of US$3.1 billion;
- GIP on construction issues relating to their acquisition of a part-ownership in Woodside’s Pluto Train 2 LNG project in Western Australia, with an approximate value of US$2.9 billion;
- The project company on the project delivery, preparation of project documentation and bid evaluation of Stage 3 of the Gold Coast Light Rail Project, with an approximate value of US$ 720 million;
- A domestic gas producer on the EPC arrangements for the expansion of domestic gas facilities, with an approximate value of US$ 700 million;
