Overview
Ryan Suda advises financial institutions, asset managers and investors in structured finance transactions and other complex financings. Clients turn to Ryan in particular for counsel with regard to matters in the collateralized loan obligation (CLO) market and in relation to structured investment vehicles secured by interests in private equity and private credit, such as collateralized fund obligations (CFOs).
Additionally, clients seek his advice on regulatory topics in relation to securities, banking and investment advisory laws and regulations, including the US risk retention regulations and the Volcker Rule. Ryan also provides guidance in areas including secured and unsecured credit facilities, private placements and asset finance.
