Overview
Lauren Williams is an associate in Mayer Brown’s New York office and a member of the Cybersecurity & Data Privacy and Litigation & Dispute Resolution practices. Lauren counsels companies across industries on complex and cutting-edge legal issues related to cybersecurity and data privacy. Her practice includes cyber incident response, compliance with international and domestic cybersecurity and privacy frameworks, and civil and criminal litigation.
Lauren co-chairs the New York office’s Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders Affinity Group. Prior to joining the firm, Lauren received her law degree from Boston University School of Law. During law school, she was an editor on the Boston University Law Review, a student attorney in the Boston University School of Law Immigrants’ Rights and Human Trafficking Program, and a visiting student at the University of Oxford, where she studied EU law and jurisprudence. She graduated summa cum laude with a BA in English from the University of California, Los Angeles.
