Plastics Recycling: an Overview of The Policy and Legal Landscape in the EU

During the annual Sustainable Plastics Europe 2024 Exhibition & Conference, Pavlina Chopova-Leprêtre will provide a panoramic review of the policy framework on plastics recycling, including CEAP and the European strategy for plastics; an update on current and upcoming legislation aimed at enhancing plastics recycling and the increasing demand for recycled products. This session will also discuss the life-cycle approach in EU policy: from raw material use to end-of-life recycling targets and explore guidelines on product design and advertising related to recyclability and recycled content.
