Mayer Brown partner Allison Stillman named to Crain’s New York Business’ 2020 “40 Under 40” list
Mayer Brown announced that New York-based partner Allison Stillman was selected as a “40 Under 40” honoree by Crain’s New York Business. The annual recognition honors accomplished New York City-based business professionals under the age of 40.
A member of Mayer Brown’s Intellectual Property group, Ms. Stillman concentrates her practice in copyright, trademark, trade dress, and other IP and complex litigation matters. She has represented clients in numerous high-profile matters that have shaped copyright law, including Google and YouTube in landmark Digital Millennium Copyright Act litigation; the Digital Media Association in connection with implementing the Music Modernization Act (MMA); and music-streaming giants such as Spotify in mechanical licensing litigation.
Ms. Stillman has also been recognized as a 2019 “Rising Star” by Law360 and the New York Law Journal. In addition, she sits on the board of directors of Lawyers for Children, a not-for-profit legal corporation dedicated to protecting the rights of children in foster care in New York City and promoting system-wide child welfare reform in New York State.
