Tauil and Chequer Advogados advises Terracap on BRL 200 million CRI distribution offering

Tauil & Chequer Advogados in association with Mayer Brown acted as legal counsel for the public distribution offering of approximately 200,000 Certificates of Real Estate Receivables (CRIs), backed by the 2nd private issuance of registered commercial notes by Companhia Imobiliária de Brasília (Terracap), totaling BRL 200 million. The target audience for the operation was qualified investors.
Terracap, a public company of the Federal District that operates in real estate development in the region, will allocate the funds to real estate projects.
The case was led by partners Ludmila Braga (Real Estate Transactions and Investments) and Bruno Cerqueira (Capital Markets & Securitization), with the participation of associates Camila Torelli (Capital Markets & Securitization) and Luiza Uebel (Real Estate Transactions and Investments).
