Tauil & Chequer Advogados advises Itaú BBA on the issuance of BRL 1.2 billion in debentures by EDP Espírito Santo

Tauil & Chequer in association with Mayer Brown acted as counsel to Itaú BBA, as the placement agent, in the public offering of debentures issued by EDP Espírito Santo in the amount of BRL 1.2 billion.
The net proceeds raised will be allocated for refinancing and lengthening the average term of EDP Espírito Santo liabilities and reinforcing its working capital.
The transaction was led by partner Luis Montes and supported by associates Julia Zarth and Marcella Castellano from Banking & Finance.
