Tauil & Chequer Advogados advises Rota do Pará on the issuance of debentures totaling BRL 400 million

Tauil & Chequer Advogados in association with Mayer Brown advised Rota do Pará on its first debentures issuance under the terms of Law 12,431/11. The operation, coordinated by Itaú BBA, was carried out through a public offering of simple debentures in the amount of BRL 400 million.
The purpose of the fundraising is to finance the company's investment project related to the concession agreement, which aims to grant sections of the highway subsystem, with a total length of 526km, in the State of Pará, comprising, among others, the execution of certain services and works, in accordance with the Road Exploration Program (REP).
The transaction was led by partner Luis Montes and supported by associates Julia Zarth and Paulo Hirata from Banking & Finance.
