Valérie Attia

Valérie Attia helps clients on mergers and acquisitions in the context of leveraged buy-out transactions in several industrial and financial sectors. She advises French and foreign private equity funds as well as industrial groups, on their sales and acquisitions, joint ventures and restructuring transactions.

Prior to joining Mayer Brown, Valérie practiced in the Paris office of another prominent law firm for seven years.

Previously, she worked in a leading French bank in credit derivatives as legal structurer for 15 years (including seven years in London).

In addition to French, Valérie is fluent in English and also speaks Spanish.
