Clients turn to Liam Boylan for antitrust and competition advice. Liam assists international clients in national and multi-jurisdictional merger control reviews, cartel investigations and other regulatory proceedings brought by the UK CMA, the European Commission and the US FTC and DOJ.
Before joining Mayer Brown, Liam worked for two other international law firms. In 2023, Liam completed a nine-month secondment at the CMA. During the secondment he worked on a cartel investigation and a range of Phase 1 and Phase 2 merger investigations.
