Scott Kaiser is Mayer Brown’s US Litigation knowledge counsel, and a member of the firm’s Knowledge Management department. In this role, he collaborates on knowledge management, attorney training, technology, and innovation initiatives.
Prior to joining Mayer Brown, Scott was a Knowledge & Innovation Attorney working with the Complex Litigation and Employment practices at an Am Law 50 law firm. Before that, he was a Senior Litigation Editor creating litigation content at a top Legal Know-How Provider. Scott was also Of Counsel at a boutique law firm and an Associate at an Am Law 100 law firm with a broad practice encompassing commercial litigation, securities enforcement, and employment law. Scott was identified as a New York Super Lawyer Rising Star in 2014.

- Represented technology company in SEC investigation of allegedly improper accounting.
- Represented financial institution in SEC investigation of allegedly fraudulent valuation processes.
- Represented mortgage lender in individual, class, and mass actions challenging statutory compliance and lending practices.
- Represented IRA custodian in obtaining dismissal of class actions brought by Bernard Madoff investors.
- Represented financial institution against claims challenging the propriety of its fees charged in connection with a large corporate reorganization.
- Represented a sports organization in defense of sexual harassment claims.
