Kaleb Sanchez advises commercial banks, private equity firms and other financial institutions (including insurance companies), as well as sponsors and borrowers, in a broad range of financing transactions. His experience includes domestic and cross-border project financings, acquisition financings, equipment leasing, warehouse facilities and restructuring transactions. Kaleb’s experience also includes a wide range of asset types, including solar, storage and wind assets, real estate, equipment, shipping containers, film receivables and other esoteric assets.

Representative Matters:
- Represented Natixis, CIBC, Wells Fargo, Rabobank and Nomura as Coordinating Lead Arrangers, Lenders, Issuing Banks and/or Agents in a $1.1 billion green loan facility to finance the construction of 3 solar energy projects located in Tennessee, Ohio and Indiana, respectively, sponsored by Invenergy.
- Represented the coordinating lead arrangers, First Citizens Bank & Trust Company, Norddeutsche Landesbank Girozentrale, and Denham Sustainable Infrastructure Capital, in Denham Sustainable Infrastructure Capital’s provision on behalf of its clients of a construction-to-term loan of $90 million, Norddeutsche Landesbank Girozentrale’s provision of a letter of credit facility of approximately $24 million, and First Citizens Bank & Trust Company, Norddeutsche Landesbank Girozentrale, and National Bank of Canada’s provision of an approximately $212 million tax equity bridge loan. The financing supports the 185 MW solar photovoltaic and 400 MWh energy storage Escape Project in Lincoln County, Nebraska, which is contracted to sell power to three casinos and a local power district.
- Represented Bank of America, MUFG and The Bank of Nova Scotia as Lead Arrangers, Lenders and/or Agents, in Bank of America’s and The Bank of Nova Scotia’s provision of a $112 million loan and letter of credit facility in connection with the acquisition by affiliates of Arclight Capital Partners of a portfolio of approximately 159 solar projects owned by Duke Energy, and in Bank of America’s, MUFG’s and The Bank of Nova Scotia’s provision of a $110 million green loan facility in connection with the acquisition by affiliates of Arclight Capital Partners of a portfolio of approximately 71 fuel cell energy projects owned by Duke Energy. The financing helped support Arclight Capital’s acquisition of Duke Energy’s commercial distributed generation business.
