Nick White helps UK and international clients to navigate and resolve contentious construction disputes, particularly disputes relating to defective works and/or design, payment issues, and delay.
Nick has broad litigation and dispute resolution experience, representing a range of public and private sector clients in court proceedings and alternative forms of dispute resolution (particularly arbitration), as both a solicitor and a junior barrister. Nick turns this experience to assist clients as disputes are emerging or heading toward resolution via mediation, adjudication, or other means.
Nick’s practice in the UK and New Zealand has covered a variety of commercial disputes, including a range of professional negligence claims in respect of defective construction work, and construction contract disputes. He has particular experience acting in matters concerning interactions between public sector entities and the private sector, inside and outside of the construction market.
