ABA 2023 Banking Law Committee Meeting

The ABA Banking Law Committee is holding its 2023 Annual Meeting in Washington, DC on January 5 and will offer over several interactive programs by leading industry practitioners.
Financial Services Regulatory & Enforcement partner Matthew Bisanz (Washington DC) will moderate three panels at the meeting. The first will address the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion in the banking industry and the steps that financial institutions are taking to internalize these principles. The second will explore regulatory concerns with fintech offerings and how the industry still can understand and leverage innovation in its operations. The third will discuss the continuing importance of third-party risk management, including the proposed comprehensive guidance for managing relationships with third-parties, as well as how to apply risk management practices to fintech partnerships.
