Mayer Brown lawyers appointed to ABA Antitrust Law Section leadership roles

The American Bar Association’s Antitrust Law Section appointed Mayer Brown lawyers Gail Levine, Dr. Andrea Pomana, Rachel Lamorte, Megan Stride and Katherine Bleicher to leadership positions for the Section’s 2023-2024 term.

Gail, who has held several leadership roles in the ABA’s Section of Antitrust Law, will serve as vice chair of the Section’s Women.Connected Committee. She will also serve as a member of the Section’s Task Force on Antitrust, CP & Diverse Consumers. At Mayer Brown, Gail co-leads the global Antitrust & Competition practice. She joined from the US Federal Trade Commission’s Bureau of Competition, where she served as a deputy director.

Andrea will serve as vice chair of the Section’s International Committee. Andrea is a partner in the firm’s Antitrust & Competition practice of the Brussels and Frankfurt offices, where she advises on European and German antitrust law and foreign direct investment.

Rachel will serve as a vice chair of the Women.Connected committee. Rachel is an associate in the firm’s Antitrust & Competition practice in the Washington DC office. Her practice focuses on complex antitrust litigation and counseling clients on antitrust matters, including mergers and acquisitions and civil investigations.

Megan, a Litigation & Dispute Resolution associate in the firm’s Chicago office, will serve as a young lawyer representative of the ABA’s online Antitrust Magazine for a two-year term. Megan’s practice focuses on representing clients in complex antitrust litigation, antitrust investigations and enforcement matters and antitrust counseling.

Katherine, a Litigation & Dispute Resolution associate in the firm’s Washington DC office, will serve as a young lawyer representative of the ABA Antitrust Exemptions and Immunities Committee. At Mayer Brown, Katherine focuses her practice on antitrust class actions and antitrust counseling.
