Mayer Brown advises Mitsui O.S.K. Lines on Poland’s First FSRU Project
Mayer Brown advised Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd. (MOL) on its long-term Time Charter Party (TCP) Agreement for a Floating Storage and Regasification Unit (FSRU) with the Polish Gas Transmission System Operator, GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. (Gaz System), the project developer and operator behind the future LNG terminal.
This venture, facilitated through MOL’s subsidiary, signifies the strategic collaboration between MOL and Gaz System towards bolstering Poland’s energy security. This will also be the first FSRU to be deployed in Poland, positioning it as a significant contributor to Europe’s energy landscape.
