Jennifer Chang is a partner in Mayer Brown's Los Angeles office and a member of the Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice. Jennifer’s practice focuses on internal investigations in cybersecurity and healthcare matters; and civil litigation in federal False Claims Act, healthcare, and financial services cases. In her internal investigations practice, Jennifer has designed and conducted several internal white collar investigations, first-chaired over a hundred witness interviews, and drafted fact-finding and risk analysis reports for clients and government regulators. In her civil litigation practice, Jennifer has trial preparation experience, and has second-chaired several depositions, drafted briefs, managed cases, and conducted discovery. Jennifer also has in-house experience – she seconded at a major medical device manufacturer in 2016-2017, where she advised the company on cybersecurity regulations and policy. Between law school and undergraduate study, Jennifer worked as a paralegal at the New York office of a major law firm, and completed a Chinese language fellowship program in Beijing.
