  • Advised Sumitomo in the initial stages of its potential acquisition of an interest in and development of a lithium-mining project in Argentina.
  • Advised General Motors Co. in an investment with Lithium Americas to develop the Thacker Pass mine in Nevada, which is the largest known source of lithium in the US and the third largest in the world.
  • Advised a supplier of battery-grade lithium chemicals on the development and financing aspects of its proposed lithium refining and conversion plant, to be built in Alsace in north-eastern France. 
  • Advised a leading US automotive manufacturer in connection with a minority investment and offtake agreement with respect to a nickel project in Brazil.
  • Advised the project company on the development and financing aspects of its proposed lithium conversion plant in Germany.
