He has extensive experience representing public and private companies in mergers, acquisitions and dispositions of businesses and assets; offerings of equity and debt securities; SEC reporting and securities law compliance; advising directors, boards and special committees on corporate governance matters, including fiduciary duties; and in representing investors and management teams in structuring and negotiating private equity investments in oil and gas companies.

- Represented clients in private placements of common and convertible preferred equity securities aggregating more than $1.5 billion
- Handled the acquisition of a publicly traded E&P company for approximately $1.0 billion
- Represented management team in formation of E&P company and negotiation of more than $500 million in private equity investments
