Kaleb Sanchez advises commercial banks, multilateral agencies and other financial institutions (including private equity sponsors and insurance companies), as well as borrowers, in a broad range of financing transactions. His experience includes domestic and cross-border project financings, asset financings, acquisition financings, equipment leasing, warehouse facilities and restructuring transactions. Kaleb’s experience also includes a wide range of asset types, including solar and wind assets, real estate, equipment, shipping containers, film receivables and other esoteric assets.

Representative Matters:
- Represented lenders and lead arrangers in connection with the acquisition of Duke Energy’s portfolio of solar and fuel cell assets.
- Represented private equity sponsors in early-stage financings for the development of renewable energy projects, as well as long-term financings.
- Represented lenders and lead arrangers in connection with back-leverage, construction and term financings of renewable energy projects in the U.S. and Latin America.
- Represented lenders and lead arranger in connection with the financing of oil, gas and helium projects located in Indian land in Utah and Arizona.
- Represented the borrower in a project financing provided by International Finance Corporation and other commercial bank for the development, construction and operation of a solar project in Mexico.
- Represented lenders and borrowers in connection with financings of solar projects under Chile’s distributed generation (PMGD) program.
- Advised tax equity investors in tax equity and tax credit transfer transactions.
- Represented lenders in equipment leasing and sale-leaseback transactions of renewable energy assets.
