Mayer Brown is honored to play a unique and important role in the G20 / B20 Saudi Arabia 2020. As the only law firm selected by the Secretariat to be a Knowledge Partner, Mayer Brown supported the B20 Taskforce on Integrity & Compliance, in particular, working closely with the taskforce leadership and member companies, including stc, SABIC, Novartis, MasterCard and China Poly Group, to help develop and draft:
- The B20 Policy Paper on Integrity & Compliance;
- The G20 / B20 Joint Statement on COVID-19;
- The B20 – United Nations Development Programme Joint Statement on Accountability and Anti-Corruption in the Age of a Global Pandemic; and
- The 2020 Gender and Anti-Corruption Initiative: Working closely with Danielle Cannata, Senior Counsel of SABIC and dozens of other executives, Mayer Brown helped to develop the 2020 Gender and Anti-Corruption Initiative, including an innovative training program focusing on gender issues in combatting corruption.
